I had the chance to work on the UE5 early access Demo this spring. A huge shoutout to all my colleagues here at Quixel and Epic. It's a great honor to get to be a part of this kick-ass team of super talented people!
I ended up working with a lot of different stuff like lighting, cinematics and set dressing. But one of my main tasks was to work with the volumetric cloud and sky system that comes with Unreal, with help from Sebastien Hillaire and Ryan Brucks, who are the people behind this amazing engine feature.
